聚焦倫敦奧運閉幕典禮　經典樂團締造傳奇時刻

禮拜天晚上的倫敦奧運閉幕典禮邀請了許多五十多年來歌壇出名的英國藝人，而The who 的搖滾演出聚焦倫敦奧運閉幕典禮。The who在閉幕典禮中唱了他們的名曲My Generation和see Me，Feel Me，並以Baba O’Riley壓軸。一個兒童合唱團配合已故the Beatles披頭合唱團團員John Lennon的名曲Imagine演唱，除了記錄片外搭配外，現場還排出了Lennon的臉型雕像。▲倫敦奧運閉幕，宛如大型演唱會。　(圖／達志影像／美聯社)另一位已故歌手Queen皇后合唱團的團員Freddie Mercury與該團1986年於溫布敦體育場演唱會的記錄片精華，在新一代英國流行歌手Jessi J演唱皇后合唱經典歌曲We Will Rock You時播放，Queen的吉它手Brian May也加入一同演出。Oasis的團員Liam Gallagher與他的Beady Eye合唱團翻唱Oasis的Wonderwall。The Kinks的Ray Davies則與他的樂團唱了Waterloo Sunset。以上這些演出名單即已令搖滾樂迷興奮莫名，倫敦奧運的開、閉幕典禮完全展現英國藝人在搖滾樂壇的重要性，而開幕典禮安排披頭合唱團的Paul McCartney演唱Hey Jude，閉幕典禮則是「披頭」另一已故團員John Lennon名曲Imagine的演唱，顯現英國人對the Beatles的尊敬，而The who 的壓軸演出則代表他們在英國人心目中是與the Beatles平級的搖滾天團。在倫敦組團的The who合唱團1990年即入選搖滾樂名人堂，2001年獲Grammy終生成就獎，他們很受歡迎的歌See Me，Feel Me是搖滾樂劇專輯Tommy中的插曲，1970年曾獲排行榜第12名，Tommy於1975年並改排成電影。
